Pharmapets and Vetostore
In 2020, Mitiska invested in Pharmapets and Vetostore, two pet food e-commerce companies. Pharmapets operated in Belgium and the Netherlands, while Vetostore was a leading market player in France. Together with the founders of both companies, Mitiska supported their international expansion and helped consolidate the sector. The two businesses experienced rapid growth, offering more than 100 brands and over 5,000 products.
In 2022, Tom&Co acquired 100% of both companies. The acquisition strengthened Tom&Co’s digital capabilities and supported its omnichannel strategy by integrating its physical retail network with the online platforms of Pharmapets and Vetostore.
This transaction represented a buy-and-build strategy focused on digital expansion.
